When do you get a warranty on the Lagooni shower wheelchair?<\/h5>\n

The Lagooni shower-toilet wheelchairs are CE and T\u00dcV certified. You receive a 6-year warranty<\/strong> on the welding of the frame of your Lagooni shower wheelchair. For the various components, you get a 12-month warranty<\/strong>. In most cases, there is no warranty<\/strong> on the upholstery. However, there is a manufacturer\u2019s warranty on the upholstery if there is a production defect. This is usually immediately visible and must be reported right away. Examples of production defects include loose stitching or poorly stapled upholstery. Damage to the upholstery must be visible upon delivery. If you wish to claim warranty, you must report this damage to Lagooni before using the shower wheelchair.<\/p>\n

Warranty procedures and conditions<\/h5>\n

Whether something is eligible for warranty can only be properly assessed afterwards. For this, we need the broken or damaged part. To prevent you from being left without essential components and to ensure you can continue using your shower chair, we recommend ordering the necessary part first. Once you\u2019ve replaced the part and swapped out the broken or damaged component, you can request a warranty\/return form from us. Send the printed and completed form back to Lagooni along with the defective part. Lagooni will assess within 5 working days whether the part qualifies for warranty. If it does, we will credit the cost of the new part you purchased and refund the amount to your account. Request a warranty\/return form here<\/a>. Replacement parts \u2013 purchased through the supplier<\/h5>\n

Did you purchase the shower wheelchair through a supplier and does a part need to be replaced under warranty? The first step is to report this to the supplier of your shower wheelchair. They will contact Lagooni to handle this further.<\/p>\n

Replace parts \u2013 purchased yourself<\/h5>\n

Did you purchase your shower wheelchair directly from Lagooni? Please contact Lagooni directly. The aim is always that you do not end up without a shower wheelchair, and that action is taken as quickly as possible. We recommend that you contact us if parts are unexpectedly broken.<\/p>\n

Reimbursed and non-reimbursed repairs to your shower toilet wheelchair<\/h5>\n

Has your Lagooni shower-toilet wheelchair been provided via a supplier or did you buy it directly by Lagooni and is a repair or service required? Please first contact your supplier. After all, repairs cannot be claimed to a health insurance company by Lagooni. You have to arrange this yourself.<\/p>\n

Of course, you can always\u00a0contact<\/a>\u00a0Lagooni directly for repairs for which you do not claim any compensation. Lagooni will contact you (except throughout the holiday periods) to discuss the costs and possibilities to repair your wheelchair within one working day.<\/p>\n

Always use original parts<\/h5>\n

To keep your shower-toilet wheelchair safe and to ensure your warranty is valid, you must use original parts made and supplied by Lagooni for repairs. All parts produced by Lagooni are made from materials suitable for use in wet environments. Certain components, such as the seats, are also essential to the structure. Replacing these with a homemade or third-party seat can significantly impact the structure and safety of the end user. Using non-original Lagooni upholstery also poses an additional risk of pressure sores for the end user. Therefore, upholstery made and supplied by Lagooni carries the Genuine Lagooni label on the underside.<\/p>\n

For dealers in particular, using non-original parts also has implications for liability in the event of incidents (medical device legislation, MDR).<\/p>\n

Performing repairs yourself (or as a dealer)<\/h5>\n

It is possible to perform repairs yourself, but if they are not done correctly, any warranty and liability will be voided. This also applies to repairs carried out by dealers. For properly replacing seats and installing insertion rails for toilet buckets or lower supports, instructional videos can be found via the links on this page.<\/p>\n

Repairs performed by Lagooni<\/h5>\n

Of course, Lagooni can carry out all desired repairs and modifications in its own workshop. Some minor repairs may be done on-site, but it is generally advised to come to the workshop. If you would like to schedule an appointment for a repair in the workshop, please contact us.<\/p>\n
